Hello everyone! We are Helsinki-based non-profit educational association Aurora Math and company EO Space Oy. We are a team of alumni of top mathematical institutions, psychologists, teachers and IT specialists.
We are working to reshape how mathematics and creativity are perceived in society, with a current focus on primary education and after-school learning. Our goal is to ensure that children with diverse levels of preparation experience mathematics not only as understandable, but as genuinely inspiring, while positioning creativity as a core value for future generations.
The project started in early 2024 in Helsinki, when we decided to hold the festival with the support of the local community.
In the end, 132 families joined us for the first event.
Almost 50% of the participants filled out the feedback survey after the event, with an average score of 9.54/10, the NPS was 84.6%!

It was an absolutely amazing event: the energy of children, volunteers, enjoyment of the event’s quality, magical aftertaste.
On October 26, 2024, we held our second EO STEM Jam with 150 families and 60 volunteers. We achieved an average score of 9.79/10, an NPS of 96.15%, and received many positive reviews – it was absolutely amazing!
This second event confirmed the demand for the new festival and educational experience introduced by EO STEM Jam.
Building on that success, we held our third event on April 26–27, 2025, welcoming more than 200 families and expanding the format to include both EO STEM Jam (Preschool to Grade 3) and the brand-new EO STEM Lab (Grades 4–6), with completely new STEM activities for children (See a short video here and a presentation of the format (in Finnish))
At this third event, we received remarkable support from many Finnish families. That gave us the confidence to grow EO STEM Jam into a full-scale festival movement around math and science for schoolchildren.
Our mission is to raise the visibility of math and science for children in society. Our dream is to bring EO STEM Jam to many schools across Finland and turn it into a new driver of positive change in STEM education.
Our fourth festival, held on November 8–9, 2025, was already pushing the venue to its limits:) Over two days, we brought together more than 210 participants from preschool to grade 4, more than 280 parents, and 100 volunteers.
