Hello everyone! We are the EO Space team, a Helsinki-based EdTech startup, that started its operation in 2022. We are a team of alumni of top mathematical institutions, psychologists, teachers and IT specialists.
We are working on changing the approach to teaching mathematics in primary school, and in general on the problem of kids’ academic motivation. We’re striving to make children of different levels of preparation find mathematics not just interesting, but inspiringly interesting. And so that every child develops at their own pace.
And our emotional, inspiring festival…
The history of the project began on April 20, 2024, in Helsinki, when we held the first EO STEM Jam festival. We have been missing bright and happy events for a long time, and although we did not receive grants or feedback from potential b2b customers, and realized that until we should hold at least one festival in the EU on our own, without additional support.
We have also found Suomalais- venäläinen koulu - a school with a perfect venue and wonderful team behind it.
As a result, in March 2024, we decided to hold the festival partly with our own money, partly from ticket sales.
In the end, we had 132 families join us for the first event.
Almost 50% of the participants filled out the feedback survey after the event, with an average score of 9.54/10, the NPS was 84.6%!

It was an absolutely amazing event: the energy of children, volunteers, enjoyment of the event’s quality, magical aftertaste.
